I grew up during the perfect era of hip hop

I remember in my younger years when the radio played only the hot shit. Now if it ain't a mixshow I don't listen. As a kid I spent many afternoons and evenings sitting beside the radio reciting damn near every rap song. I used to look forward to catching Rap City after I got home from school. Do you remember the Street Dreams video? Better yet remember when Hardknock Life Vol.2 dropped. It feels like yesterday when Meth and Mary was on every countdown. Those were the days. Thanks to the creation of the Ipod I can time travel throughout the day. Here is some video clips of that good ol 90's hip hop.

These poor kids now aren't getting exposed to real rappers. All the radio and tv play now is weak rap with no subject matter. A 13 year old can't appreciate an artist like Nas, Black Thought or Common simply because they don't understand it.
