Proctor, a 6-foot-4 floor general out of Canberra (AUS) NBA Global Academy made his decision public ahead of the Nike Hoops Summit event where he is competing for the World Team. He chose Duke over Arizona and playing a year in the NBA G-League. Other schools involved included Oklahoma, Tennessee and Louisville. Duke head coach Jon Scheyer offered Proctor on January 25th via a video conference call and then facilitated a visit to campus on February 14th. Even though he played his entire career in another country, Proctor appreciated the rarity and exclusivity of a Blue Devil offer at the time.
