People got mad because Asher Roth said that people should give back. When your in position to do it why not. This COON Gucci Mane went and blew his money on fake jewels. Even though he might have spent about $4,000 on all of this bullshit it's just the principal. People have lost jobs and they can't support their families but these ignorant ass rappers (like Gucci Mane) will rap about money and how they are so much better than you (the listener) if you don't have it.

Top 5 albums that let me down
5. The Firm- The album
Despite the all-star line up this was a sub-par album. Nas, AZ, Foxy, and Nature was supposed to make a classic with this one.
4. Young Gunz- Brothers from another
After a great rookie album I thought these boys were the next group to kill the game. Jay-Z executive produced this and I only liked one track. After this I have to question Jay-Z's taste in music
3. Consequence- Don't quit your day job
I was bored out of my fucking mind when I sat down and listened to this all the way through for the first time.
2. Method Man- Tical 0

Is LL Cool J really the greatest?
I know it's been a while since the last time I wrote a blog but I been busy as hell. (College courses, studio, physical therapy, etc.) Last week at the barber shop some dude was trying to tell me us young guys don't recognize real hip hop. I was just listening......and listening then I had to cut him off. He said LL Cool J was the greatest ever. At that moment I knew he was stuck in the past. I know LL been around since 85 but he wasn't even the best in the 80's. During that era we had Rakim, Big Daddy Kane, KRS-One, NWA, Slick Rick, and Run-DMC just to name a few. I'm not afraid to be a asshole and say that LL ain't even the best out of that group.
In the 90's a ton of great MC's came into the game. LL did his thing with the ladies and a few battles but do you ever remember him being the top nigga in the game.......NAH I ain't think so. The biggest moments he had during the 90's was when Hey Lover was hot and the battle with Canibus. For the record Canibus won that by a landslide. He did okay selling FUBU and acting but his music wasn't that good to be honest. I bet you can't name every LL album from the 90's. What's crazy about that is he only had 4. If you read his lyrics to yourself your gonna be rolling in the floor laughing or confused trying to figure out what people see in him. He made it cool to rap for the ladies and I can't take that from him. Other than that what has LL Cool J done for you. LL Cool J has been in the game for 24 years and that why some people called him one of the greats. Robert Parish played 21 seasons in the NBA, won 4 championships and nobody gives a fuck because he wasn't one of the best players. If people think that way when they rate athletes why is it any different when it comes to a rapper?
Now since 2000 his career has only gotten worse. His only big records in the last 9 years are "Luv you better" and "Headsprung". Do you remember "Fatty Girl" lol? That is just one of the many wack records he has been a part of since 2000. I will admit that everyone has done a wack track or 2 but come on LL. How do you have a wack decade? When I heard "Rocking with the G.O.A.T" I thought we were gonna see the potential that LL had. When I heard the whole EXIT 13 album I was let down once again. Sub-par beats and weak lyrics ran wild all through the album. Now ask yourself is LL Cool J in your top 10. If not how can he be the greatest...........

10 things I hated about Hip-Hop this year
10. DMX getting arrested over and over again. Cocaine is one hell of a drug!!!
9. (AUTO-TUNE) Unless T-Pain did it the songs were usually wack. The industry just over did it with this shit on 08. As much as I think Kanye new album sucks I must say Ron Browz is the worst.
8. (ARAB MONEY) I'ma Busta Fan but this shit here..... The hook is the most offensive part of the track. Ron Browz is yoddling through auto-tune. WTF
7. Great albums didn't sell as much they should have while bullshit topped the charts. Soulja Boy went platinum before American Gangsta did. The Carter 3 wasn't that good of an album the be honest. Even Trey Songz fell short on sales on the R&B side of things.
6. (DJ Khalid) I'm a fan of how hard he works but could he please stop making those tracks with 30 niggas on it. If that isn't irritating enough this dude fucks up every song by yelling out random shit. Fuck it I hate his voice too.
5. (Radio Rotation) How do program directors make up this list of unbearable bullshit to play all day. I damn near lost my mind when Marco Polo was in rotation.
4. (The Death of RAP CITY) I remember coming home from school and watching Rap City just so I could catch the illest videos. After 2005 that show turned into a preview of 106 & Park. The host were wack and the videos went from hip hop to pop. Yung Berg was a guest on there but Little Brother were never on there......
3. (T.I. and Shawty Lo beef) Shawty Lo bama ass got on my nerves with this shit. I don't give a fuck if T.I. was from North Dakota I think his music is the shit. T.I. built homes, a club, and started businesses in Bankhead. Shawty Lo had nothing to say when I'm Serious came out but when his album goes double plastic and T.I. gets in trouble with the law all of a sudden where he came up is a issue
